On August 8, the General Administration of Customs released China's foreign trade data for the first seven months of this year.


From January to July 2023, the export value of furniture and its parts was 252.09 billion yuan, down 4.1% year-on-year; The export of ceramic products was 105.35 billion yuan, down 5.2% year-on-year. The export of lamps, lighting appliances and parts was 168.86 billion yuan, an increase of 1.9% year-on-year.


In July, the export value of furniture and its parts was 35.89 billion yuan, down 1.6% from the previous month; The export of ceramic products was 15.5 billion yuan, up by 2.4%; The export of lamps and accessories was 27.28 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7%.


In June, the export of furniture and parts was 36.49 billion yuan, down 1.4% from the previous month; The export of ceramic products was 15.13 billion yuan, down 0.3% from the previous quarter; The export of lamps, lighting appliances and their parts was 26.31 billion yuan, an increase of 2.1%. The decline in exports of furniture and its parts widened compared with the June data; The export value of ceramic products changed from negative to positive, and the export value of lamps, lighting devices and their parts continued to grow.
